We capture on site using the Matterport Pro3 LiDAR and coordinate your deliverables as a single point of contact — from raw point cloud through to BIM-ready model outputs. Processing times and costs are stated plainly, upfront.
01 · What we deliver
We are a capture and project coordination service. You get one point of contact for the whole chain — from booking the site visit to receiving your files. Some outputs are produced by our team; others are processed by Matterport's specialist team. Both are stated clearly below.
Pro3 LiDAR capture on site. Half-day (up to 4 hours) or full-day (up to 8 hours) sessions. Indoor and outdoor, up to 100m range. High-density scans with ±20mm accuracy at 10m. The digital twin and 3D tour are included in every capture session as standard.
Registered E57 point cloud processed from your scan data. Import-ready for Autodesk Revit, ReCap, Rhino and most AEC software — no conversion needed. Your modelling team builds the BIM model from this data to their own standards. OBJ, XYZ and PTS available on request. This deliverable is processed by Matterport's AI engine and coordinated through us.
A finished architectural model produced from your scan data by Matterport's specialist processing team. Available in LOD 200 with options for Architecture, Architecture + Furniture, Architecture + MEP, and Complex Industrial MEP. This is not an automated export — it is a human-modelled deliverable and processing time reflects that. We handle ordering, file transfer and quality checking.
A complete record pack combining the digital twin, dimensioned annotated screenshots and E57 point cloud — formatted for refurbishment briefs, planning submissions and handover to structural or M&E consultants. Dimensioned 2D plans, sections and elevations also available via Matterport's drafting service. Scope and turnaround quoted per project.
02 · Pricing
Capture rates cover your time on site and the base digital twin. Data deliverables — E57, BIM models, documentation — are quoted separately at cost plus a handling fee. This keeps your capture affordable and means you only pay for the outputs you actually need.

04 · How it works
You deal with us throughout. We handle the site visit, the export orders, QC and delivery — so you're not chasing Matterport directly or managing files yourself.
STEP 01
We scope your project, confirm the deliverables needed, and quote the exact capture rate plus Matterport export costs before anything is booked.
STEP 02
One site visit. Pro3 LiDAR sweeps registered on site. Indoor and outdoor in a single session. Digital twin live within hours of upload.
STEP 03
We order your exports — E57, BIM model, documentation — and manage the processing. You're kept informed of status and expected delivery times throughout.
STEP 04
Files QC'd and transferred via secure cloud link. We stay available for import support and can coordinate re-orders or format changes if needed.
05 · Common questions
Matterport's specialist processing team produces BIM models from your scan data. We act as the single point of contact — we place the order, manage the process, perform a quality check on delivery, and transfer the files to you. We don't model in-house, and we don't pretend otherwise. If you want a model built by an architect to your own conventions, we deliver the E57 point cloud and your team models from it.
Unlike the E57 point cloud — which is an automated AI registration taking around 24 hours — a BIM model is produced by Matterport's human modelling team. They take your scan data and build actual architectural geometry: walls, floors, MEP elements, furniture. That takes time. The more complex the scope (MEP, industrial), the longer the turnaround. We quote the expected window for your specific project before ordering.
The Pro3 captures to approximately ±20mm at 10m. This suits existing-conditions documentation, refurbishment briefs, clash detection and LOD 200 BIM work at early design stages. It is not suitable for structural calculations or legal land surveys requiring millimetre precision — those require a chartered land surveyor. We can refer you to appropriate survey professionals if your project requires this level of accuracy.
Matterport's export costs vary by deliverable type and space size. Before we order any export, we confirm the exact cost with you and invoice it separately from the capture rate. You pay the export cost plus our 15% handling fee, which covers ordering, file download, QC and secure delivery. There are no hidden costs — the quote you receive before we proceed is the price you pay.
Absolutely — and many architects prefer it. You receive a registered E57 that imports directly into Revit, ReCap or Rhino, and your own team builds the model to your standards and conventions. This is the fastest and most cost-effective route if you have in-house BIM capability. Turnaround is approximately 24 hours from the date of capture.
Tell us about your project and we'll scope the right deliverables, confirm exact costs upfront, and give you a realistic timeline before anything is booked.
